Connection is the Key: The Power of Positive Caregiver - Child Relationships

DDSB’s Well-Being and Parent Engagement teams have come together to organize Connection is the Key, a FREE information session offered to parents, guardians and caregivers. The event will focus on nurturing positive relationships between caregivers and children. Dr. Jean Clinton will be presenting to the group. She is a Clinical Professor at McMaster University in the Child Psychiatry division. She has been a consultant to children and youth mental health programs, child welfare, and primary care for over 30 years. Dr. Clinton is renowned nationally and internationally as an advocate for children’s issues. Her special interest lies in brain development, and the crucial role relationships and connectedness play therein. Please join us for what promises to be a fascinating talk.
